After nine days of dazzling runway shows, China Fashion Week has come to an end. The closing ceremony took a look back at the event’s 20-year history.
Top awards for fashion designers and models were also handed out.
The event's closing ceremony began with a showcase of fashionable looks created by designers, who have won the Best Designer Award over the past 19 years. China's top designers, including Qi Gang, Zeng Fengfei and Zhang Zhaoda, gathered at the closing ceremony to celebrate the event's 20th anniversary.
Awards for this year's best fashion were also handed out.   Veteran designer Wang Yutao won the event's top prize, the Best Designer Award.

This year's Best Fashion Photographer, Commentator and Stylist were also given awards. The 20th China Fashion Week featured 89 runway shows by established designers and up-and-coming talent.
"There are both international and traditional elements in this year's shows. As the fashion industry has an increasingly wide international horizon, I feel that the more open-minded we are and the deeper we get into global fashion, the more local designers will choose our own culture, oriental aesthetics and traditional craftsmanship including intangible cultural heritage and traditional patterns and decorations, as their source of inspiration. It's a sign that Chinese fashion designers are growing more mature," says Zhang Qinghui, president of the China Fashion Association.  Beijing's top fashion event also featured professional contests, fashion forums, and thematic exhibitions.
Established in 1997, China Fashion Week is held twice a year. It aims to promote domestic fashion and has become a top platform for domestic designers to shine.
