Violence in Myanmar’s Northwestern Rakhine state has driven tens of thousands of Rohingya to seek safety across the border in neighboring Bangladesh. More than half a million have now crossed into Bangladesh. The UNHCR and other aid agencies have mobilized an enormous relief effort. The Bangladeshi government is offering critical assistance. Ordinary people in Bangladesh from all across the country have also offered help.
