A mother and daughter avoided near death last Thursday as two good Samaritans rescued them from a sinking vehicle in the Hanjiang River, which runs through Xiangyang city in central China’s Hubei province. Surveillance footage shows the vehicle going in reverse, crossing between traffic on a road. It then crashes through a barrier before falling into the river below.
