Now for the latest from the Winter Games in Pyeongchang. China has claimed its second silver medal at the Olympics, in the figure skating short program.
Sui Wenjing and Han Cong finished with just over 235 points in the figure skating pairs final, a mere zero-point-4-3 points shy of a gold medal. China's first silver medal came after Liu Jiayu finished second in the women's snowboarding halfpipe event on Tuesday. The Chinese duo was skating to the classic Turandot by Giacomo Puccini. The routine suffered a major setback, as Han under-rotated a double toe-loop. Sui stumbled on the following side-by-side triple Salchow jump. The stumble effectively ended any hopes of the pair finishing at the top of the podium. Germany won the gold, while Canada, took home the bronze.
