Asian Film & TV Week Opening: Aamir Khan talks about exchanges in film industry

The Asian Film and TV Week 2019 kicked off on Thursday in Beijing, as part of the on-going Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations. Indian film maker and actor Aamir Khan, best known in China for his high grossing movie Dangal, spoke to CGTN. Sun Wei has more.
The Asian Film and TV Week was launched Thursday evening in front of the Imperial Ancestral Temple with a ceremony featuring performances and conversations among heavyweights from Asia's film industry.
Before the ceremony, Aamir Khan shared his ideas about the collaboration in the industry between China and India.  
He added he was touched by Chinese audience's openmindedness and wished to introduce more Chinese films back to India.
Held from May 16th. to 23rd, the Asian Film and TV Week comprises Masters in Conversation, Asian Film Week and Broadcasting of TV programs. A total of 60 selected Asian films from 30 Asian countries will be screened in major cities of China. SW, CGTN.
