South Korea's unification ministry has said the DPRK will send its high-ranking delegation to the closing ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
The delegation will be led by Kim Yong Chol, vice-chairman of the Worker's Party of Korea Central Committee. Kim and his delegation will meet South Korean President Moon Jae-in during their stay. Meanwhile, the White House has said that Ivanka Trump, the daughter of US President Donald Trump, will lead the US delegation to attend the closing ceremony in PyeongChang. Ivanka is scheduled to meet Moon Jae-in on Friday, but officials say that she doesn't plan to meet with officials from the DPRK.
