SHANGHAI RESIDENT "I am 72 years old. My pension is 3500 yuan a month. My biggest wish is that the government can bring down the cost of medical care."
HU CHAO TAIYUAN, SHANXI PROVINCE "I'm CGTN reporter Hu Chao based in north China's Shanxi Province. Let's find out what the local residents expect for the coming two sessions."
TAIYUAN RESIDENT "My biggest concern is education. Now more than 70 percent of children are taking extra-curricular lessons, for which parents often spend a lot of money. We hope this negative trend can be changed."
TAIYUAN RESIDENT "I'm concerned about the bad traffic during peak hours. I also find it so hard to find a place to park my car. Now more families have private cars, but the parking is very limited in the city."
TAIYUAN RESIDENT "I will soon graduate, and I'm worried that it will be difficult for me to find a job. Now China has more college graduates. I hope more job opportunities can be provided for us."
YANG JINGHAO CHENGDU, SICHUAN PROVINCE "This is Chengdu, capital city of southwest China's Sichuan Province. The annual two sessions are just around the corner. What are the expectations of local people? What are the issues they care about? Take a look."
MA FENGQING, 50 HOUSEKEEPING EMPLOYEE "I hope the NPC deputies and CPPCC members can pay some attention to the housing price issue, as it is still too high and it's very difficult for us average people to afford one house in urban areas."
LIN DING, 31 DELIVERY INDUSTRY "I hope the online gambling issue can be raised during the two sessions. A lot of friends of mine have encountered fraud through illegal mobile games. I hope the government can strengthen supervision on it."
LUO LINLANG, 32 INSURANCE INDUSTRY "I care about the education issue most. Since the implementation of the second-child policy, the scarce public school resources problem is becoming even more serious and we have to draw a lottery to get a slot. I hope the government can take measures to solve this problem."
