Military scientists in the United Kingdom say they cannot prove the nerve agent that poisoned a former spy last month was made in Russia. The head of Britain's military research centre told Sky News that the nerve agent, Novichok was used to poison Sergei Skripal and his daughter.
Meanwhile, the world's chemical weapons watchdog, the OPCW said it would hold a meeting on the case at Russia's request on Wednesday. Britain has accused Russia of being responsible for the nerve agent attack, but Moscow has denied any involvement. The episode has led to a serious diplomatic row between Russia and the West.
