Almost twenty years ago, so many otters were being hunted and killed that they were incredibly rare in northwest China's Sanjiangyuan region. Thankfully, groups of otters have been found living there recently. Cameras captured footage of the animals at almost 100 spots on more than 40 occasions. The presence of the species is believed to be a testament to the quality of the environment and ecology.
