The Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), is one of the parties participating in governmental and political affairs under the multi-party cooperation and political consultation system led by the Communist Party of China (CPC).
In November 1947, the democrats in the Chinese Kuomintang (Nationalist Party) held their first joint meeting with democratic patriots in Hong Kong. On January 1, 1948, the meeting declared the official founding of the RCCK.
With the establishment of the RCCK, the party took an active part in making preparations for the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and founding of the People's Republic. It made important contributions to the founding of New China.
After the founding of New China, the RCCK, a member of the multi-party cooperation led by the CPC, participated in the work of the CPPCC, playing a constructive role in developing the patriotic united front.
The RCCK finished its 13th national congress in Beijing on December 24, and Wan Exiang was re-elected chairman of the RCCK.
