The White House says there are no plans for Ivanka Trump to meet with any of the DPRK's people during the Winter Olympics this weekend. Press Secretary Sarah Sanders says President Trump wants to maintain "maximum pressure" on Kim Jong-un's government in a bid to prevent them further developing nuclear weapons.
SARAH SANDERS WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY "The point that we have made over and over again is that the conversations that we would have privately would not change from our public comments. We would like to see North Korea make some movements towards denuclearisation and that would be the genesis of productive conversations. Again our focus over the next couple of days is on the Olympics, celebrating the athletes, cheering them on, and certainly congratulating the South Koreans on successful games."
