For the second finals confrontation, the Chinese seemed more confident as teammate Ren Ziwei was also on the court. But Wu was in a really good state and kept apparent leading advantage and finally grabbed gold with 40.559 seconds.
The silver and bronze went to the Hungry brothers, while Ren Ziwei took the fourth. After grabbing the gold, Wu Dajing went on to the top of the men's 500 meters standings and the ISU official website called the Chinese "King of the Short Track."
