Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will visit the Philippines to attend a series of high-level meetings including the 12th East Asia Summit from November 12 to 16 in Manila, Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said Li will also attend the 20th China-ASEAN (10+1) leaders' meeting as well as the the 20th ASEAN-China, Japan and Republic of Korea (10+3) leaders' meeting.
US President Donald Trump, who has just arrived in Japan at the beginning of his five-nation Asian tour, will also attend the East Asia summit, but it's not clear if Premier Li will meet the US leader on the sidelines of the event.
