On July 12, an airport ground staff mistakenly took a grounded airplane as one ready to be dispatched in Hohhot, north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The wheel chock wedges that prevent airplanes from moving were removed, causing the plane to roll backwards. Upon realizing the mistake, he rushed to stop the sliding aircraft before it was towed back into place. Fortunately, no one was on the plane and the airport was not closed.
