As Iraqi forces are battling to retake Mosul from ISIL militants, thousands of people have fled their homes. But one American man has moved to the war-ravaged city to help.
David Eubank, a former US Special Forces ranger, moved to Iraq in 2015 and formed the Free Iraq Rangers. It was a continuation of his work from Myanmar where he was on a similar mission -- to deliver aid and supplies to thousands of people affected by the ongoing conflict.
For more on Eubank and his works, tune in to Assignment Asia on CGTN at the following times: Saturday 21:30 BJT; Sunday 05:30 and 14:30 BJT; and Monday 09:30 BJT (+8 GMT).
