Leaders attend APEC opening ceremony

Leaders and representatives of member economies at the 25th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting attended the opening ceremony of the event on Saturday in Da Nang.
Chinese President Xi Jinping was present at the opening ceremony. He will pay a state visit to Vietnam on Sunday.
Xi delivered a keynote speech at the APEC CEO Summit on Friday, when he stressed that globalization is an irreversible trend and China will not slow its opening-up process.
This year's APEC Economic Leaders' Week is held under the theme of "Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future."
