Visions for the Future: Boao Forum for Asia begins

The annual Boao Forum for Asia opens in China's Hainan Province today. More than 2,000 guests from across the world are gathering for the four-day summit in China's southernmost province. Chinese President Xi Jinping will deliver the keynote speech.
This year's theme is "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity". Over 60 sessions will be discussing four themes: "Globalization and the Belt and Road Initiative", "An Open Asia", "Innovation", and "Reform."
The forum will also cover issues concerning culture, art, public welfare, and sports.
