Protesters in Florida took to the streets against gun violence and for gun control on Feb. 16. The shooting at the Douglas Stoneman High School on Feb. 14 was one of the deadliest school shootings in the US history, which left 17 people dead and 15 injured. The shooter, Nikolas Cruz, a 19-year–old former student who had been expelled from the school, has been arrested and questioned in court. It is reported that there have been 1,827 people killed in gun-related violence so far this year.
