High-speed railways transform Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area. China's National Development and Reform Commission says 24 intercity railway lines over 3,000 kilometers in total will be built in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area by 2030. Meanwhile, an investment of roughly 97 billion US dollars will be also put into the region by that time.
