Hillary Clinton is under fire again for cashing in on public promotion of her new biography, "What Happened," which tells the story of her presidential campaign against Donald Trump. Some VIP tickets for Hillary Clinton's upcoming book tour in the US are reportedly being sold for more than 2,000 US dollars.
Her new book will be put on sale on September 12, followed by a series of tours across the US and Canada till September 18.
To get a "VIP platinum ticket" for the former Democratic presidential nominee's September talk in Canada, the price tag is 2,375.95 US dollars, Fox News reported on Thursday. That ticket includes two front-row seats, a photo with Clinton backstage and a signed book.
Some critics blasted the former presidential candidate for selling pricey VIP tickets that are much higher than entry to similar events of other prominent personalities.

However, the publisher of Hillary Clinton' new memoir, Simon & Schuster, refuted the practice and said it is “customary for a venue to charge for tickets at events featuring high profile writers.”
General admission ticket for Hillary Clinton's event is also offered. In Toronto, all of $70.49 tickets have been sold out. And the ticket price for her upcoming appearances changed with holding locations. The ticket price ranges from $50 to $375 in Florida tour on October 3.
The publishing house said Clinton will “connect with audiences with a story that’s personal, raw, detailed and surprisingly funny.”
“Come join Hillary as she lets loose about her experience as a woman in politics, and other topics, in a way she never has before."
