A century-old 2,000-ton Grand Hall of the Jade Buddha Temple is being moved horizontally 30.4 meters from its original location from September 2 to September 17. Once it reaches the pre-designed location, the hall will be raised 1.05 meters for improving seismic resistance and leaving more space.
