The president of the Republic of the Congo says he's looking forward to meeting with President Xi Jinping at the upcoming forum. He added that he thinks highly of China's Belt and Road Initiative and President Xi's vision of building a community of common destiny for all mankind.

As I said before, this is the continuation of China-Africa cooperation. And we mean what we say. Regarding this upcoming summit, we will draw a conclusion for our previous cooperation and look forward to more achievements in China-Africa relations. I believe the summit during the forum on China-Africa Cooperation will be a success. I think the Belt and Road Initiative is a great idea. It links China, Africa and the world with a better future. I believe the initiative launched by President Xi regarding a community of common destiny for all mankind will not only propel China-Africa ties to a new level, but will also link China, Africa and the world. The Belt and Road Initiative is a very cohesive force."
