The 19th CPC National Congress Tuesday concluded with the election of a new Central Committee. Party delegates also elected alternate members for the CPC Central Committee and a new Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI). An amendment to the CPC Constitution, enshrining the "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" as part of the Party's guide to action was also passed.
