Train routes require significant planning and logistical efforts, but this option is already proving to be attractive for many exporters. A railway yard in the heart of Spain's capital Madrid is the end of the line for a 13,000-km train route which starts from the Chinese city of Yiwu. The Yiwu-Madrid train line has overseen more than 200 trips in both directions since it opened to traffic in December 2014.
