2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics: Sui Wenjing & Han Cong Lead after pairs short program

To a different type of ice, where China's Sui Wenjing and Han Cong would look to get a step closer to adding an Olympic crown to their world title. The Chinese pair, putting on incandescent short programme, or so I'm told, and lead the Olympic Athletes of Russian duo of Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov by less than a point.
Skating to "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen, Sui and Han complete a clean series of triples earning 82.39 points, and top a tightly-packed leaderboard. Another Chinese pair Yu Xiaoyu and Zhang Hao are fifth. The free skate is set for Thursday, where medals will be awarded after those performances.
