China attaches huge importance to monitoring residues of antibiotics. The country's Ministry of Agriculture has been advancing antibiotics management, including stricter access to antibiotics, higher level of risk management and smart monitoring. The ministry's spokesperson Pan Xianzheng made the remarks at a press conference during the first session of the 13th National People's Congress. Pan noted that China is committed to a holistic approach to guarantee food safety.
