Cuba's political transition is not the only change Latin American leaders are closely watching. China's ambassador to Chile told CGTN's Joel Richards, they're keeping a close watch on the growing trade dispute between Washington and Beijing. 

CHINESE AMBASSADOR TO CHILE "The other day, I met the Chilean economy minister and other ministers. They all expressed their concern over the tension between the US and China regarding the US trade tariffs on Chinese products. I don't think it will be a good thing for Latin American countries. When the trade tension between the United States and China becomes very serious, undoubtedly Latin American countries will also be affected. A lot of these countries rely a lot on free trade, they rely a lot on economic and trade cooperation, and they rely a lot on the proper management of the world trade system."
