Jordanian authorities announced on Thursday that the country has cut diplomatic ties with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) "in line with the policies of its allies," according to the Jordan Times, an English-language daily newspaper based in Amman, Jordan.
A royal decree published in the country's official Gazette was issued approving the decision to end all diplomatic relations with the DPRK. The decree also included a termination of the DPRK's ambassador to Amman, who resides in Damascus.
The decision will be conveyed to the DPRK via one of its ambassadors.
