Sunday marks the third anniversary of the attack on satirical news magazine Charlie Hebdo. Twelve people were killed by two brothers who were seeking to punish the magazine for printing cartoons of the prophet Mohammed, on behalf of al Qaeda. In France, a wave of jihadist attacks followed the massacre, leaving hundreds dead, and terrorist plots have taken place more frequently across the globe.
