"Salvator Mundi," a painting of Jesus Christ by the Renaissance polymath Leonardo da Vinci, is the star in New York's November art auctions. The final bid for the work was 400 million US dollars, with fees bringing the full price up to $450.3m, setting a record for the most expensive painting ever sold.
