The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) will elect a new Central Committee and a new Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, said the spokesperson for the 19th Party Congress Tuo Zhen on Tuesday. A special working group, chaired by CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping, was set up by the CPC Central Committee to ensure the success of the elections, Tuo added. The 19th Party Congress got underway in Beijing on Wednesday.
