President Trump is expected to further specify his tariff package on Chinese products this week, by releasing a list of targeted high-tech imports. The list is scheduled to be disclosed before this Friday, but it'll be another two months before the tariffs take effect. Many experts say the Trump administration is targeting Chinese technology industries, as a defensive move against the country's "Made in China 2025" strategy. The strategy is meant to upgrade China's manufacturing industries by replacing imports with domestic products.
