German-Turkish Reporter Freed: Deniz Yucel released after one-year detention in Turkey

The German Foreign Ministry says the German-Turkish journalist Deniz Yucel has been released from Turkish jail. The reporter from Die Welt newspaper was detained in Turkey a year ago, accused of espionage, spreading propaganda in support of a terrorist organisation and inciting violence. Yucel denied the accusations and no indictment was made.
