A kangaroo cub has emerged from its mother's pouch for the first time at the Xi'an Qinling Wildlife Zoo in northwest China's Shaanxi Province. The little kangaroo has grown in its mother's pouch for six months, before making its grand appearance. The mother kangaroo came from Australia in April and became pregnant while at the Zoo. There are four nipples in a mother kangaroo's pouch, where the cub has to live for six to seven months before emerging.
