Oil tanker explosion kills three in east China

At least three people were killed when an oil tanker exploded in Dongying City, east China’s Shandong Province, on Monday, local authorities said.

The incident occurred at around 1:53 a.m. local time while the truck was being loaded and the fire was extinguished at around 2:25 a.m. local time.

An investigation into the cause of the explosion is underway.
