Arab countries have been important stops along the ancient silk road. Now the route has been reinvigorated due to the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by China. Earlier my colleague Tian Wei spoke to Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the Arab League. He said Arab countries fully support the initiative and he's very confident that it will be a success.
