China Focus: Xi shares vision on BRICS win-win cooperation during ‘golden decade’

Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the Plenary Session of BRICS Summit in the southeastern Chinese city of Xiamen on Monday.
Though separated by mountains and oceans, the five BRICS countries have been closely bound by a shared commitment to win-win cooperation and a pursuit of common development, Xi noted.
He noted that emerging market economies and other developing countries have worked together to foster a sound external environment.
As the world undergoes profound and complex changes, cooperation among BRICS member states has become more and more important, he said.
BRICS countries have supported each other in the last decade, and followed the path that suited national conditions, the president said.
In the last decade, economic, political and people-to-people exchanges have been carried out in an open and inclusive fashion with a win-win spirit, Xi added.
