Wang said the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics has provided a theoretical significance to world development – all countries should make their own choices for the development path which suits their own conditions.
China will uphold the values of peace, cooperation, fairness, and justice, said Wang, adding that the country will never seek hegemony and global expansion.
The 19th CPC Congress outlined the strategic plan to open the Chinese economy to a higher level. It also highlights China's commitment and responsibility to global governance. The Belt and Road Initiative which has been incorporated into the Party's constitution opens wider space for global cooperation, said Wang.
"The world is expecting China to become the 'engine' of world development and [a] 'stabilizer' of world peace," Wang said.
As the world witnesses an evolving international landscape and the shifting balance of power, China will keep the momentum of growth, as well as provide new ideas and initiatives to world peace and development.
