To basketball in China for the first round of the revamped CBA Playoffs which consists of two best of three series between the seventh to tenth placed teams. The Shenzhen Leopards won Game One against the Guangzhou Long Lions, and were on the road in Game Two knowing that one more victory would see them advance to the quarter-finals.
The hosts Guangzhou in the white shirts would fall behind in the opening quarter. Sani Sakakini makes a long jumper, but Shenzhen leads 22-19.  
With four and a half minutes to play in the second quarter, Shenzhen's center Li Muhao picks up his fourth foul and heads to the bench with the score tied at 43.  
Guangzhou take advantage and go ahead 56-49 on Kyle Fogg's jumper.  
Shenzhen has more foul trouble in the third quarter as Shen Zijie gets his fourth and is replaced by Li, but 30 seconds later he gets his fifth personal and is back on the bench.  
But the visitors start to comeback. Keith Langford intercepts a pass and his layup makes it 74-71 Guangzhou.  
Then Langford delivers a long outlet pass to Gu Quan which makes it a one point game.  
With just over a minute to play, Jared Sullinger's three ties the score at 112.  
30 seconds to go and Sullinger misses, but Li gets the rebound to put Guangzhou up by two.  
Shenzhen are unable to come back and Guangzhou wins 116-112 to complete the 2-0 series sweep and advance to the quarter-finals.
