Record-breaking British athlete Roger Bannister has died at the age of 88.
Bannister became the first athlete to break the four-minute mile at a sports ground in Oxford in 1954. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2011. British Prime Minister Theresa May led the tributes to the former athlete, saying he is a "great British sporting icon".
