Xi Jinping, re-elected general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), led six other members of the Standing Committee of the 19th CPC Central Committee Political Bureau to meet the press on Wednesday in Beijing.
Xi was re-elected general secretary of the CPC Central Committee at the first plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee earlier Wednesday morning.
Other members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau are Li Keqiang, Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Wang Huning, Zhao Leji and Han Zheng.
