General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping said that “vacating the cage to change birds” and “Phoenix Nirvana” means transferring old energy into a new one, as he urged that structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading be put on the right track. “The key for structural adjustment is to make the transition smooth,” Xi said during an NPC panel discussion with deputies from east China’s Shandong Province in Beijing on Thursday.
