A male-female giant panda twins were born at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding and Research Base, in southwest China's Sichuan Province, the research facility announced on Thursday.
The pigeon pair were born to "Chengda" at 10:57 p.m. and 11:35 p.m. local time on Tuesday, the base said.
The female cub weighed 128.2 grams, while the male was a bit heavier, weighing 160.2 grams.
All the physical exams and health indicators are reassuring, showing that the mother and the cubs are in good condition.
