As a model, Bonnie Chen confesses she used to be unsure of herself. With her face covered in heavy make-up, she says she never recognized true beauty. That was until she looked into the eyes of herself in an advertisement, and saw confidence there.
Relaunching her modeling career after graduating, she covered her face in heavy make-up, but again she faced disappointment.
Then she was asked to attend castings make-up-free, and a miracle occurred in New York. And she was able to discover her true self.
“My understanding of beauty is to be real, be fair and to create something positive.” This is the message she wants to share with a young chic generation.
