Shanghai-Taipei forum calls for 'healthy city'

An annual city forum between Shanghai and Taipei was held at the Shanghai International Conference Center on July 2.
 A Taiwan delegation led by Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je attended the forum and other social activities.
This year's forum’s theme is “healthy city,” focusing on experience-sharing and communication about opportunities and challenges in community health service, smart city, livelihood service, environmental protection, and youth startups.

The two cities signed four memorandums to strengthen cooperation on city planning, consumer rights protection, basketball games and academic exchanges. 
They have added the total number of memorandums signed on the forum to 30 since the launching of the forum in 2010.
Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong said in his opening speech that 2017 marks the 30th year of reconnection of non-governmental exchange, and the fruit of 30 years' communication shall be valued.
