UK-Russia Diplomatic Row: Expelled Russian diplomats leaving embassy in London
[]
The dispute between UK and Russia over the poisoning of an ex-Russian spy in the UK continues. Twenty-three diplomats expelled from the Russian embassy in London began leaving the building with their families and luggage Tuesday. Britain has thrown out 23 Russian diplomats over a nerve agent attack on former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia on March 4. In response, Russia expelled the same number of British diplomats.
They are expected to leave Moscow in the coming days. The Kremlin says the allegations against Russia are "unsubstantiated" and will have to be answered for, either with evidence or an apology. British Prime Minister Theresa May has reiterated her claim that Russia is probably responsible.
