ISIL has claimed responsibility for an attack on a private television station in the Afghan capital of Kabul, the group's news agency Amaq said on Tuesday, without giving evidence.
The station came under attack on Tuesday when a number of gunmen broke into the building following an explosion, officials said.
At least two people were killed and three others injured in the attack, Xinhua News Agency reported.
Afghanistan's Tolo News said attackers detonated an explosive device at the gate and then gunmen stormed the building.

One of the attackers was killed immediately but others fought off security forces with hand grenades.
As the attack unfolded, Shamshad TV, a Pashto language broadcaster, stopped normal programming, transmitting only a still image.
