A suicide bombing targeting foreign forces rocked Kandahar city in Afghanistan on Wednesday.

NATO confirmed in a statement that one of its convoys was attacked and did "cause casualties", but no numbers have been released yet, according to AFP.

The blast occurred near an airport in Shoorandam locality when the convoy was passing the area, Xinhua News Agency reported, citing a police source.
