China says it appreciates the courage by the Japanese to reveal and reflect on historical facts. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying made the comments at a daily briefing, when asked about a documentary aired by Japanese public broadcaster NHK. The documentary showed the atrocities inflicted by Unit 731 on Chinese people during World War Two.
