China, US kick off inaugural diplomatic and security dialogue

Diplomats and defense chiefs from China and US started to hold the inaugural diplomatic and security dialogue in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, with the DPRK crisis, trade and global terrorism expected to be at the top of the agenda.
Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi and General Fang Fenghui, chief of the People's Liberation Army's Joint Staff Department, will join the talks hosted by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis.
